Mental Wellbeing Workshop

 

Supporting the emotional wellbeing of young people has never been more important. This 40 week interactive workshop programme has been specially designed to help young people aged 14 to 19, including those with SEND, navigate the challenges of adolescence with greater confidence, self-awareness and emotional resilience.

 

This programme offers far more than just information. It creates a safe, relatable and engaging space where young people can explore topics such as anxiety, depression, stress, social pressures, identity, and relationships, all while developing powerful strategies for wellbeing and self-expression.

 

The programe is delivered over 1.5hr sessions, one day a week.  For example, every Friday, 10am to 11.30am, over 40 weeks.

What’s Included

 

Each 1.5-hour weekly session is thoughtfully designed to:

✔ Explore a core mental health or life skills theme
✔ Provide creative, sensory and reflective activities
✔ Support emotional literacy, regulation and resilience
✔ Encourage peer support, confidence, and expression
✔ Offer practical, take-home strategies that last

 

 

 

Topics include:

Understanding emotions

Coping with anxiety and change

Relationships and boundaries

Conflict resolution

Self-esteem and identity

Neurodiversity and social pressure

Exam stress, perfectionism, and more

 

 

Each workshop is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and rooted in compassion, 

 delivered with energy, care, and a deep understanding of the inner world of young people.
